¡Hola amigos! No time to chit chat, but I have a quick prayer request. Today I am finally having my wisdom teeth extracted! They started causing problems a few years ago, but because our life is crazy, we are just now getting around to it.

I have never had the anesthesiologist for today’s surgery before, but get this: He actually wanted to handle my case! Can you believe that? Oftentimes doctors don’t want to deal with somebody as complicated as me. But this doctor likes to think outside of the box and is comfortable with the somewhat unorthodox anesthesia protocol that is necessary to help my body avoid unnecessary chaos. And because I am at Mercy, my palliative care doctor is here to keep an eye on things, too. I feel really confident that I will be well taken care of, and that is such a relief.

As you all know this is typically a minor procedure. But there is no such thing as a minor procedure for me, so I could really use your prayers!
