3rd Time’s a Charm – Prayer Request

Good morning, friends! I have a prayer request for you. As you may (or, perhaps more likely, may not) recall, last fall I was supposed to have surgery to replace my central line and GJ tube. Long story short, the night before the procedure we got a call saying it was canceled, as insurance approval hadn’t come through yet. And the 2nd attempt was even worse; after waiting in the prep room for 6 hours, I was sent home without surgery because they didn’t have a room for me to go to afterwards due to high Covid census. In the immortal words of Ricky Ricardo: “¡Ay ay ay!”

We are giving it another try today. They say the 3rd time’s a charm, right? If you could please keep me in your prayers today, I would really appreciate. This central line has lasted me 3 YEARS! My record before that was 11 months. And at the time we counted 11 months as a big victory.

Please pray that . . .

1) this surgery will happen today

2) that it will go well

and

3) that this new central line will treat me just as well as the one I have had for 3 years.

Hopefully I will be back home with my puppy dog before we know it!

Thank you, friends! 🐶💋
