Thank you so much for your continued prayers and support. Around 3:00 a.m. Sarah’s paralysis finally subsided. What a relief! Although this has occurred several times in the past, it is so very concerning, and it is really difficult to watch her suffer so. Oh how we wish that we knew why this happens; but as is typical with Sarah, the doctors really just do not have those answers. It is possibly mito related; but it will take further genetic testing to know if that is indeed the cause. We should be heading home in a few hours; and from what I have heard, Aunt Krista and Uncle Tim will have Alice Eloise there, ready and waiting to greet and comfort her Mommy.
Thanks again for the prayers and kind messages. When Sarah is awake I share them with her … and her response is typically, “that is so nice”. Hearing from each of you makes the days and nights much brighter.
I am certain that as soon as Sarah bounces back, she will provided lots of details about her adventures … and a few goofy stories, too.
